If Your shocks are adjustable then they will be threaded on the outside of the body. The coil-over spring will be sitting on a perch that can be screwed higher or lower on the shock, thus compressing or decompressing the spring. The shorter your spring becomes, through compression, the lower your car will sit, and the stiffer the spring will seem. OK, This is a silly question I know, but how can you tell if you have adjustable shocks and how do you adjust them? My Spax have little gold screws on the side near the bottom of the shock (the end near the ground). Does that mean they are adjustable? If I wanted to lower my nose, what would I have to do besides compress the spring around the shock?
