Hello Andy
You can make the universal joint quite
easily.
I used two air cylinder piston rod clevis
ends, with a twisted piece of flat steel, drilled with two holes to fix them
together and allow them to articulate. I can send you a drawing if you wish. or
if you prefer I should be able to send you a picture of the original plastic
one.

Hi again,
Many thanks for your email - it's good to know someone who has been through what I'm about to tackle.
I think one of my first jobs it to tackle the pedal box. As the seats have no adjustment, I believe it is best to make an adjustable pedal box. How have you done this ?
I you have any photos of the interior, that would be very helpful as I'm trying to decide whether to buy an interior from Marcos heritage, or have one made.
If you have any information on the drop glass frames and whether it is possible to fit electric windows, that would be helpfull too.
This will be a reasonably slow build as I intend taking my time and doing it right. I hope you don't mind the odd email for advice.
Thanks again for any help you can give.
Best regards
Andy.
