Re: Unofficial Marcos Homepage

2003-09-30 by Mark Saxby

Thanks fellas,

I initially put the mirror on Geocities when I spotted how slow my
site was in the US on Freeserve, but if you're getting reasonable
performance I'll gradually phase out the older information on
Geocities.

BTW, I've just had a conversation (via e-mail) with a chap from a
website called www.automotive.com.

I didn't think it appropriate to have a link to such a general site
from the Marcos website, but some of you might find it useful, as he
suggests "Your users would be able to sell their cars, get car buying
and selling information, and car insurance, at our website."

I can't comment on the site, but he was a pleasant bloke, so I
thought I'd pass on the info.

Cheers.

Mark
