Jeff, The dashboard swithes were originally fitted to a Jaguar, I believe, (they may have been fitted to other cars as well) and they are almost impossible to find new. I tried to get some during a trip to England many years ago and found that the reference numbers had been superceded a number of times and tracking them down was a time consuming task. I had the most problem with the headlight switch, which used to slowly melt inside due to the high current flowing through it. I was fortunate enough to locate a new one and solved the melting problem by fitting a relay in the curcuit. I haven't had a problem since. I digress. However, at the annual Ancaster British Car Flea Market and Show in April, I have come across good quality second-hand switches for around $10-$15. The insides of most of the switches is the same, so a switch cover can be replaced by the old cover to reflect its use. If you have a problem locating a switch, let me know and I'll see if I can get one next April, if not before.
