Yes that is quite correct my bonnet hinges were as
you describe also.
The chassis you see in the picture is one that I
made a short while ago and when I did I made up my own hinge to allow the gaps
around the bonnet to line up evenly. The spigot is eccentric and the bonnet
rotates on a 2" bearing.
