Congrats Ron!
My first car show experience wasn't as good. It was a local show with a
WIDE variety of cars. I was placed in the "sports car" category which
had everything from a 50s MGTD to a brand new Corvette and Acura NSX. I
had a constant stream of people and questions all day, but the awards in
my class went to the AC Cobras (1 original and 1 replica) which, oddly
enough, win this show EVERY year.

Took the Mantis to a British Car show in Port Perry (northeast of
Toronto)
on Saturday.  Since I live southwest of Toronto, I got to enjoy a 2-hour
100
mile drive on the backroads to get around Toronto, and another 2 hours
back
again, in perfect weather.  Entrants got to vote for 3 awards - best
saloon,
best production sports car, and best limited production sports car.
Believe
it or not, my Mantis won first place in the limited production category.
