Re: [MarcosManiacs] Marcos Glass- role call!

2002-06-20 by Don Lattimer

Hi all,

John Parker 's "feature page" on Jeff's site states that his car is in
storage due to lack of a rear windscreen.

A lady in South Carolina posted on Mark's site yesterday that she was
looking for a new front windscreen.

I spoke to a gent in southern California last night who has a '67 Marcos
#3/5334. He also needs a rear screen. He is also the previous owner of
Mark Petrinovich's car and was quite surprised that it was on the cover
of British Car Mag. He hadn't heard of any of our sites, etc. He plans
on making his a racer.

Might want to get these folks involved also. The more windscreens, the
cheaper the price!

OK, here are the names and quantities for the people that responded:

Name: Front Rear
Lee Brinkley 1
Mark Petrinovich 1 1
Dave Barton 1 1
Stephan Spalding ? 1
Paul Verdeyen (UK) 1
Dan Orie 1
Mark Saxby (UK) 1
Jeff Caraway 1 1

Everyone, please check that I have your name and the right quantities.
Also LMK if I missed anyone.

I realize that the involvement may change once we find out prices, but
at least this will give us a number to go to both places with.
I do think it is worth checking both places to see where we stand.

Once confirmed, I will send these quantities to Rory and continue on
that front.
I will also find out if there are extra "hidden" charges like shipping
and customs, and what the lead time may be.

I'm not sure about all the copyright details and what that will mean for
us.
Does anyone know how to pursue this with the Marcos club people in the
UK?
And, who wants to contact Pilkington to get a price (if they can still
make them) once we have confirmed these numbers? Lee... is that you?
