Marcos Maniacs

Hi all,

Had the Marcos in a local car show this past weekend (mostly hot-
rods) and thought I would be the talk of the show until a Daimler 
Ferret (a small two-person tank) parked near me!!  Between the two of 
us though, we stole the show.  Could be why we're not invited back 
next year!  Those American muscle-car guys don't have any sense of 
humor.

I attended the ALMS series practice day at Sears Point Raceway on the 
17th and got to meet James Weaver (drives for Dyson Racing).  I made 
a point of finding him because his hometown is Wiltshire!!  Real 
nice, friendly guy.  Showed him one of the pics of the four cars in 
the British Car Mag article.  He was duly impressed.  

I contacted the Marketing Director for Sears Point Raceway a while 
back about entering a rally this coming weekend.  He requested pics 
of my car.  He called last week and said the event had been cancelled 
but he sent me four large event posters and $200 worth of tickets for 
the Wine Country Classic on June 1 and 2(as long as I bring the 
Marcos).  9 classes of cars will be racing from F1 classics to EP 
classics.  It's always a great show.
