Mono to sterio

Mono to sterio

2011-10-10 by Stephen Currington

Have been given 4 "mono" vocal recordings to work with. By Mono I mean actually stereo but recorded in left channel only.
What is the best (quickest and cleanest) way to recreate these as stereo, where the same thing is in both channel (L&R)

I did put them into Logic on an Audio track and then press the stereo button at the bottom left on the channel strip but although this seems to work on playback it adds clicks and weird uncontrollable random gain adjustments.

I could create 2 audio channels a Left Channel and a Right Channel.. Put the track into both correctly aligned and then bounce out to stereo.

Any other

Steve..
