Burning a song to CD/Signal to Noise Ratio

Burning a song to CD/Signal to Noise Ratio

2005-06-13 by musicman1179

Hello,

Logic Express 7 iMac G4

I'm a new Logic user. Can anyone tell me how to burn a song to a CD?
 I've been having problems.

Also, how can I maximize my signal to noise ratio? I ask this
question because I always have a hot signal going into Logic when
recording, but during playback the level meter is extremely low.

thank you

Bounce to AIFF file. Then throw them into toast, or burn them from the Mac finder.

You can see how hot the actual input to logic is by looking at the menu during recording, or at the peaks in the audio file after. Then use the compressor and/or limiter to pump it up. If your signal is too low then it will be a bit harder and lower quality.

So, you're saying, the burn function in Logic doesn't really work? (It seems so. I haven't
gotten it to work yet.)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
