Re: [Logic_Cafe] Running Protools and Logic together

2009-08-05 by lee scott

Yea! I figured it out. I created a new instrument in the Logic
environment. I set the port to IAC driver bus 1. I created a track for
that instr. in the arrange window. In PT, in the midi studio setup
window, I clicked on the IAC icon, then Get info, then checked "device
is online" box. On my PT instrument track I selected IAC driver, bus1
for the midi input. Now I can record a midi track in Logic and it will
play the PT plugin instr. The audio goes out the M Box output, so if I
use it I have to record it back into Logic via analog inputs. I really
like the presets in the Xpand PT plugin instr.
