I use for TT, "Free" paper material

Each Laser printer is different: the hardest thing is to find paper that withstands the Laser fusion heat, has better adhesion properties than the drum and less than the PCB(roughing the copper pcb helps), New Good quality Clay based paper does work well but can be expensive. I am using a very low cost paper "FREE" for TT that works real well. Its, the Hi gloss advertising magazines Covers for homes etc found in grocery stores etc also in the news papers. the inside paper in the magazines is usualy bad but the high gloss Cover page is great. The glossier the better (Glosser ones have a much smoother surface)and alow for finer lines. 0. Pre talcom powder the page(optional) I found that rubbing Talc on the paper before print helps, the only problem is not to get the talc from the page on the PCB before/while transfer. (the printers with separate toner drum and fuser drums may work better). 1. Print using laser printer (I am using a Brother 720/730 series laser printer)it has a single toner/fuser roller). 2. transfer using laminator 3. soak in warm water about 10 minutes or untill the paper almost falls off on its own. see the result. the color on the cover paper does not matter since it does not transfer to the PCB. please try and send any comment on your results. one thing the advertisers keep track of the number of coppies of the Free advertisings that are picked up so this will help their count. its a win win..
