Staples Picture Paper vs HP 4P printer

Staples Picture Paper vs HP 4P printer

2004-11-25 by oakavenue

Hello all,

I can't get the fabled Staples Picture Paper to feed through my HP
Laserjet 4P. The package says it is 56 lb / 210 g/m^2 / 8-9 mil
paper. Could anyone recommend a printer that prints suitably for
toner transfer and does so onto media of this thickness?

Thanks.

Adam

I am using a Lexmark Optra E+. I bought it for $30 at a computer show
to print couple dozens of copies and it keeps printing.

Last night I tried the www.pulsar.gs paper and it surprised me how
great it was. I am not sure any more if Staples paper (or any other
paper is such a neccesity for most people, unless someone does a
volume PCB production.

I've used it with the HP4L. I didn't try to feed it thru the mechanism.
Manually feed it in and open the rear exit door. that way it
doesn't have to bend.
