Apache AL 13P2

Apache AL 13P2

2017-01-10 by kbyrne10@...

I just bought a Apache lam and have a question. I will be useing .063 or

1.58mm thick stock. The Pulsar pro site does not talk about thickness

when turning the screws on the bottom of the lam. Does that matter as i don't want to try the adjustment till I get that clarified. Does any one know the facts?

I recommend that you buy this mod kit and install it. The instructions tell you the proper tightening of the screws. This kit may be available from other sources than Jameco. I have installed this kit on my apache laminator and it works well.

Regarding the Apache 13P mod. kit:
have a look here:
https://hackaday.io/project/3363-apache-al13p-tl-320b-one-pass-pcb-toner-xfer

regarding roller tensioning:
http://blog.kamilon.com/?p=120

Regarding PCB thickness, I do from scissors cut up to 1.6mm with no
roller adjustment using the mod.
