I understand different laser use different temperature toners. I'm
using a HP 6P, did a google search to find out temperature for toner
transfer, no luck. Suggestions?
Toner transfer depends on other things too (pressure, board
cleanliness, board type, etc). I had to do several trial & error to
come up with consistent results.

You could try contacting HP. The right person will be able to tell you.
