A Micro FM Transmitter Project

A Micro FM Transmitter Project

2011-04-21 by Eldon Brown

Here is my latest example of a HomeBrew PCB project of using the Toner
Transfer Method.

It is a Micro FM Transmitter.

Search for FMTranmitter

It is small project, but it was fun to build, and now fun to use!

What is the round cylinder on the base of the antenna? Is it part of
the circuit?

Jeff,

For most of my Ham Radio Micro Beacon Projects and this Micro FM
Transmitter, I use a round 2.2p capacitor component as simple a stub
antenna, actually anything would work. It does provide a bit of a load and
helps stabilize the oscillator and avoid hand capacitance. But it is a neat
component and looks good for the antenna.
