Press and Peel Blue and new Laser Printer - Follow-up from Techniks

I got a reply from Techniks regarding my inability to get a good transfer from Press and Peel Blue to the copper surface using my Brother HL-2040 for the first time. I had been using a photocopier to transfer my images to Press and Peel Blue for about a year, with reasonably good results; some near perfect, some boards requiring some retouching. As I posted to the group a week or so ago, I got only a couple of spots where the toner transferred, and it was not recognizable as an image. Tech support said that some of the new laser toners require 325 degrees, whereas I was using about 275 with the model airplane plastic wing-shinking iron. Press and Peel film is good for 450 degrees, so they suggested that I use a regular iron at a higher setting. They are interested in hearing my results, and have offered to pay for any sheets that I use in the experiment. Ted Bruce KX4OM
