I do not understand why the handpiece should get warm. It has the same BBs as the minidrill, i don't think it is normal for bbs to get significantly warm? If the shaft itself heats up due to tosion i might just use the headpiece alone. I can not machine a spindle in BBs that has low enough runout, at least i have no idea how i would do it. I have some nice DC motors from aerospace/mil applications which i'd like to use as a motor. ST
