has anyone of you the flexible shaft from proxxon?
The webpage says it has 2 BBs in the handpiece, and the good quality
proxxon precision
ground collets.
I must make a drill press with viewing apparatus, and i might not want to
tie up the mini drill itself.
The flexible shaft would provide the precision spindle and collets, while
a simple motor could
easily be fitted to drive the shaft. Maybe the ball bearings in the
handpiece could be tightened
up in some way should there be too much play.
what do you think?
