well, rc cars are boring.. i more like it 3D (electric rc flight). But we use the same motors... (nearly). You know i bought the proxxon IB/E and it was expensive, but worth the money... I will use it when i actually get to building. I plan to mill aluminium and plastic too so i might one day buy a bigger machine which also takes thicker shafts. But i don't regret buying the proxxon, it is much better than the cheap "dremel clones" i had.
