It's not exactly what the OP was after, but, at http://www.cbridge.com , they have a photo-sensitive screen product that can make a screen-printing screen, directly from laser-printed artwork (or any black-and-white artwork). I think the relevant product name is something like PhotoEZ HiRes. I have it here but never got around to trying it. The HiRes version is supposedly able to accurately reproduce text down to 4-point size. I don't remember the price of the starter kit that I bought.
