Well as being British we invented the roots of there (their) language, now there (they are) trying to teach it us with their colorful (colourful) ways......... But (grammar; starting a sentence with 'But') I think your right about the terms, they wont (won't, as in will not?) change, like the American mindset, no retreat, no surrender............. Being British myself, I find it offensive when someone from my country criticises the colonials in their use of English, when they patently cannot use it themselves. See corrections above.
