Discussions about small CNC's are usually "blown off" the CNC groups by the metal cutters, as if it is not worth their time or effort for the little stuff. I've seen this happen many times over the last four years. It's always the "Tim The Toolman" syndrome -- More Power! I did get a huge chuckle when the discusion on one forum was about the number of turns per inch a wire needed to be most efficient. You can find dozens, if not humndreds of sites that describe homebrewers' effort to build a small "starter" CNC. The simply and inexpensively do the job for the buildeers, drilling pcb's, cutting wax, balsa, and plastic. The market is definitely there. Myc
