Sorry Robert, no personal offence intended: instead I should thank you
for a relatively short example of what's wrong with top posting. ;-)

Your explorations have been very interesting and this thread
and others stimulated by the research into direct-pcb printing
seem to be eliciting some very useful information about the
operation of Epson printers.

Keep it up chaps! - but please trim so we don't get to read it all
two or three plus times over in higgledy-piggledy order in the digest.
