HOLY CRAP!

I was so absorbed in my post, so concentrated on how to unclog that darn
tube, that I TOTALLY missed the bottom. If you check back in my posts,
you'll see that I always trim the post I am replying to; usually leaving a
couple significant sentences at most, and I always remove previous replies
to that one. But I totally missed the boat on that one and left a ton of
crap go by.

And no, I don't consider myself a top-poster, just someone that is actively
involved in the current discussion. I have a C84 on hand and a CX3810 on
its way, and it saves a lot of time and effort for others if I get as much
'research' done. Others members are testing other material/equipment, I'm
just tying to help out with the limitted funds/skills/neurons at my
disposal. Volkan has done a lot of work on this technique as have some
others, I'm just trying to contribute the little I can (in return for the
tons of information I've gotten from these forums).

With top-poster he means a person posting on top of the quoted text i
believe.
Some people take the right to decide it is only allowed to post after the
text, i make a point of posting on top on purpose whenever someone makes
such a nonsensical complaint.

Good lord indeed you quoted some old text by accident, i'm sure the
world's gonna end.
It wasn't like it was a 100 page digest or anything. These off topic
messages annoy me much more than anything else.
If sb. has a complaint about posting style raise it with the list owner,
or at least change the subject.

I for one look forward to your next post about very useful information,
not matter the formatting.

So thank you for that one post and all of them, and never you mind people
who have a bad day and complain about a 6k mail which is maybe 2k too
large with another 4k mail....

I agree 100% Stefan, this nonsense of whining about top-post, bottom-
post, trim-some, trim-all, is nothing more than someone venting
because life isn't treating them well.

Robert, you keep doing what your doing and never mind that rubbish!

Sorry guys, but after gettting bombarded with ~ 100
postings on this inkjet subject. I'm a little battle
weary. There were some gems of wisdom in there, but a
lot of "chaff" to use the polite word.

Rant #1

It is the writer's decision to top post or bottom
post.

If the reader doesn't like it. DON'T READ IT!

Stop wasting everyone's time by complaining about it.

Rant #2

All the experts out there who are keyboard jockeys,
get off your butts and try something. Don't throw
stones at the poor guy who is actully trying something
new because it's not the way YOU WOULD have done it.
If you want it done a certain way, DO IT YOURSELF and
report back to the group.

Rant #3

To all of the "experts" who keep bringing up the great
things they did in the past, show everyone you still
have that "spark"; update them, or put your effort in
solving a current problem.

My apologies to all

Myc

Sorry Robert, no personal offence intended: instead I should thank you
for a relatively short example of what's wrong with top posting. ;-)

Your explorations have been very interesting and this thread
and others stimulated by the research into direct-pcb printing
seem to be eliciting some very useful information about the
operation of Epson printers.

Keep it up chaps! - but please trim so we don't get to read it all
two or three plus times over in higgledy-piggledy order in the digest.

Please trim quotes to minimum for context, then
reply _below_ or interleave point-by-point replies.
