Please email me privately and let me know what you need and the price you have in mind.

Thanks so much,

How hard would it be to repair the card?

Is there much in the way of service information out there? They can't
be *that* complicated, surely?

I've repaired them before. Not all that easy to work on.

Well....let me put it this way :
If the card looks anything like my card did, forget it. It was impossible to desolder components. Legs and tracks desintegrated just by touching them with a screwdriver. Some would not come of the card no matter how much heat. It was impossible.
Remove your batteries !!!

Yes, some of the parts of a Q133 are harder to work on than others.

It helps to have some dedicated rework tools like a heat gun.
Luckily, the Q133 is one of the more common CMI cards.

Hi Gordon,

Yes. There is a full theoretical description and schematic in both the IIx and III service manuals. They're not so hard to understand, although as WT says, due to being multilayer, they can be dicey to rework.

The IIx and Rev 9 Series III versions of the Q133 are similar but not identical, and serve the same purpose in both.

Hmm. I do multilayer through-hole and SMD rework pretty much every day
at work, and have the tools to do it at home too.

I wonder what a complete non-runner IIx is worth? Not that it will be
anywhere within sane shipping distance of me, but a man can dream...

I wonder if Peter Vogel would be in a position to re-make these cards to order? It seems a HUGE shame to let a machine go to pieces, literally, for the sake of a damaged or unrepairable card :-/
