CMI Restoration Project

CMI Restoration Project

2010-04-06 by silvercreekvalley

Restoring a CMI, bit of a long term project, and
wondered if anyone had any Mk II spares? In particular
my alpha keyboard is missing some keys, actually they have
been completely removed, so any ideas for replacements?

The 'mainframe' is also in a bad way. If anyone has
a spare Mk II mainframe for sale let me know, failing
that any spares would be of interest. PSU is OK, but
that's about it :)

Any restoration tips in general? The keyboard although
functional and mechanically great, has a fairly grubby
shell. Has anyone tried restoring/respraying these?

Thanks

Ian
