Hi peter ! Aye, e after i, I see :) thanks for your suggestions ! I'll check the cards, glad I have replacement Midi cards. How could I check the surface and integrity of the harddrive ? It is the original one (probably not a scsi). If this is an MFM drive, what are the odds of succesfully hooking it up to an old PC and making a backup with Ghost or similar ? The machine runs software 6.03. Cheers ! Harald
