Hi All, I've got a slightly problematic CMI IIx here - well, I bought it defective quite some time ago. Things have changed a lot since that - thanks to Alexander Guelfenburg of Virtual Music (http://members.aon.at/virtual-music/e_index.htm if you're interested), the base unit works now... next on the list is the screen. Don't know what happened to it, but somewhere between the protective screen in front and the actual glass of the VDU there's something that looks... well, crumbled, rotten; something like that. I've heard that this is a common phenomenon on these screens, but my one is really bad - it's practically unreadable in some areas (and the light pen won't see anything there). A picture is here: http://www.hermannseib.com/images/fairlightscreen1.jpg Does anybody know how to cure this problem? Or, alternatively, does anybody know where to get a matching replacement part? Thank you, Hermann
