I've also been looking for that sound in the IIx library.
I've got the following 3 string floppies, none of them which contain that 
sound:

#14 LOSTRING
#15 HISTRING
#16 STRINGS3

Is this one of those sounds that got copied between artists/producers and 
isn't part of the original Fairlight library?
Or did Fairlight decided not to include this sound in the IIx library  even 
if it was part of the Series I/II library?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
