Ok, done a bit of reading. The Sync Out and Clock Out works by recieveing a clock signal from the 3-pole DIN. Sync Out 4 should be connected to the CMI Mainframe Sync input XLR ( pin 2 ). Now the external clock will drive the CMI and the 68A40´s will divide the incoming clock and output through Sync 1-3. Also, the Clock output will supply Din-sync24 for any so compatible unit ( 808,606 etc....) That´s the theory at least. Will need to find a 3-pole DIN connector and make a special cable.
