I've forgotten!
I think I would just send it a sync tone. It should be in the manual.
I think it's the 3 pin din connector that I used.
SMPTE it will trigger the start time and then the CMI runs at it's own tempo.
Not so easy to get it to sync 100% IIRC

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
