Fairlight-CMI

Yes, this is definitly strange. Further , my Series III / Mfx2 has sample & hold cards on every DA converters. If I remind well, Fairlight announced 100 db for the dynamic. Thats nearly 17 bit. And the sound had more punch compared to my old rev6.
Perhaps the 14 bit was the dynamic of the first series III ?
