also fatar still do the bushes so getting new ones is possible
the only problem with cutting the bushes is that even if you dont have pressure on the keys can transmit at due to the thresh hold being lowered to bushes beeing cut
so that just pressing the key with no pressure
will trigger poly at when not needed
i had this problem on an sy85 with chanel presure when a key was just pressed with no pressure it sent out channel pressure which was always set to pitch lfo and would modulate a vsti if i used it as the controller keyboard very annoying
but yes the bushes can harden and they were greased with silicon grease
there was also problems with users using the wrong type grease on the bushes for stopping noise and they made the bushes melt
on the jd800 roland used a cheap glue that was red and when some people used the wrong grease it made the glue disolve producing a red goo
i have some spare bushes
i could get some made ill look into it as i can test to see whats the best material to use for the poly at

I have a SD-1 that came in with the same problem. FRIST, check the velocity/at settings. If they are set correctly, the the problem is most likely that the key-down bumbers have hardened and cousinf too much pressure to be needed to reach the "sweet spot" to trigger AT. I got this one working by trimming the rubber bushings a little. A fair amount of work removing the keyboard and all the keys.

WARNING: If you want to try this, please Email me and I will send you a rough sketch of what to cut... DO NOT CUT THE BUSHINGS "SHORTER".
www.syntaur.com has a few used bushings left if you need some. I have NOT tried this, but is may work to soak the bushings in a rubber renewal chemical.
