the trade mark for poly at is ensoniqs
whether yamaha did a version of it in the cs80 but
did not tm it
but older synths cs80 and the very first
synthesizor by rhoads in the 1930-40
used an osc and filter and vca for each key so
would be definetly been poly note controled
thats why they were so big
but the trade mark belongs to ensoniq
