make sure your midi controller is sending the right CC number to control parameter you're trying to tweak.
say filter cutoff on CC #1, etc. And then go into the screen that has 1:1, 2:5, 3:3, etc. and select the
midi control over cutoff #. and obviously make sure both units are on the same midi channel, or on omni.
