well,i have the ms20,too and i,too,like it's filters a lot!i liked
them so much that i decided to have 4 such couples of high
pass/lowpass filters in my a100.but,i bought the a122/a123 combi's,
instead.well, they are 24 db but they sound very good together(in
series,the lowpass after the highpass,just as in the ms20).so,i,
sure, can tell you that this combi sounds good! but different from
the ms20's filters.the a121,also, sounds good but i haven't tried two
a121's in series to compare them to the ms20.but,anyway,why would you
want to have a great analog modular just to emulate a patchable mono
synth that you aleready have???you can do SO much more with an analog
modular!!!experiment!!!try different filter modules!!!
about the AS multimode filter,i can't tell you anyhting as i haven't
got it.but it will surelly be good with it's ext.feedback loop.if you
want something like this ,you can go for the excellent a108
6/12/24/48db lowpass/bandpass filter!!!!!!!!this will give you even
more creative capabilities!
and something else:if i were you ,i would buy two a111's!i like them
so much ,for their linear fm feature,that i have 8 of them, in my
a100 system.
