A-188-1

A-188-1

2014-04-15 by Monolith Studios

Hi, I am a newbie who is just starting up. I have the Doepfer A-100BS2 and am starting to fill and LC9. I bought an A-188-1 and think I have made a mistake. On the panel is states that it is an A-188-1 but none of the stages are marked? I cannot see anything like this listed anywhere. Some guidance on this would really be appreciated.

Regards, Tim.

You may have a look at the pcb of the module. There is a chip on it
which should be named like "MN threethousandsomething". Here is a list
of the available modules:

     A-188-1X with 128 stages BBD (MN3006/MN3206),
     A-188-1Y with 256 stages BBD (MN3009/MN3209),
     A-188-1A with 512 stages BBD (MN3004/MN3204),
     A-188-1B with 1024 stages BBD (MN3007/MN3207/BL3207),
     A-188-1C with 2048 stages BBD (MN3008/MN3208/BL3208),
     A-188-1D with 4096 stages BBD (MN3005/MN3205),

The list can be found at http://www.doepfer.de/A1881.htm

You are correct, I just looked at the circuit board photos and I do not have a chip. Are these readily available? Which one should I get?
