Re: [Doepfer_a100] Doepfer jacks

Re: [Doepfer_a100] Doepfer jacks

2014-02-15 by Marlene Gutsch

hi

when i read this, i think this is a special problem always from the same modules ( but very few models ). especially the a-156 and a-134-1.
i think this, because i also order modules last year from schneidersladen and all modules are ok,
except the a-156 and in a later order the a-134-1. both modules are new. the a-134-1 even brandnew.
the first module with loose jacks was the a-156. i send the module back to schneider , because the jacks were
significant worse as the the jacks in all my other modules.
i got another module from döpfer , but the jacks were only slightly better as in the first model. not to compare
with the jacks in my other modules.
the second module was the 134-1( the new model, as written ), this have also very loose jacks.
all other new modules have nearly perfact jacks, e.g. the new a-141-2 or the a-180-2

as those are the same modules as described in the threat, i think, this cant be a coincidence.

ciao

Re: [Doepfer_a100] DT Pitch

2014-02-16 by Anil Sahal

I've noticed the pitch dialled in with the main knob for each event on the DT has changed. Having the dial at the extreme positions used to produced a pitch of 'C' from my Waldorf Blofeld. Recently this has shifted up a semi tone to 'C#'. On one patch on my Blofeld this dial position pitch is 'G#'! I haven't altered the universal tuning of my Blofeld (I'm not even sure how to do this.)

Any suggestions on how to get the default pitch back to 'C' without having to mess around with each patch on the Blofeld (I assume it's the DT that's the problem here).

Does the DT have a hidden master tune screw. it is often recessed or in a hole somewhere underneath and only accessible with a jewellery screwdriver

I'll have a look. But how does this explain the one single patch that's G#?

Probably not, you are connecting via midi so the master tune suggestion is probably not valid

Thanks for your spurious suggesting, oh brother of mine ;-)
