A-140 repair

A-140 repair

2014-01-05 by tom@worldofduff.co.uk

Hi

I have just plugged an A-140 into my bus board the wrong way round and it no longer triggers when fed a gate signal.

Does anyone have any pointers as to what I have most likely fried and need to replace.

Thanks in advance

I'd recommend to replace the (low cost) integrated circuits TL084 and
CD4001. If this does not help you may contact the Doepfer representative in
your country (e.g. EMIS if you are in the UK). Andy of EMIS is very
experienced with A-100 repairs.

Best wishes

Many thanks for the reply.

I found a spare 4001 and 084 in my bits box and tried switching them in. Turns out it was just the logic chip that had gone.

All working again now.

Cheers
