A 107 Time Base Input

hi everyone, since the possiblity of the A107 going into came up, i have been thinking about features that would turn filter into something more than just filtering audio. the possibilities for new synthesis techniques plentiful. here is a feature that came to me while i was doing the poll. i think there should a time base input for the control of the memory of the Voltage Control Filter Type Selection Input. there would be an input jack, a center detent potentiometer and a 3-way switch. if you put a voltage to the input and the potentiometer stays in its center detent position, the input behaves without any attenuation i.e. if you have an lfo at the time base input, the input reacts exactly the voltage level or rate of the source. if you turn the potentiometer to the right, it expands the voltage. if you turn the potentiometer to the left, it compresses the voltage. a 3-way Range Switch for the Time Base like the A140 and A145. there are 3 really interesting real time control voltages that would be very useful here, Key Voltage, Velocity and Pressure. think of the Key Follow slider on the Envelopes of the Roland Jupiter 6 and the MKS 80 Super Jupiter. any thoughts or suggestions are very much appreciated. happy polling, RM
