a post from Florian gave me that idea:

an A100 Noise Gate/Expander module would also be nice to have in the modular.

ok, you say, we have countless vca's for that. 

yes, but a dedicated and good quality A100 Noise Gate/Expander module with 'Threshold', 'Release' and 'Ratio' controls (and an affordable price) would be nice too....

any interest for this?

Very interesting idea, would save me having to patch in external units.

As already mentioned: Some general "studio modules" could be a very fine 
extension for the A100 system. Not voltage controlled.

Think of it like the poor mans API lunchbox.

It would extend the customer range of Doepfer into a new market.
