Little Labs VOG in modular format

Little Labs VOG in modular format

2012-02-19 by sound.performance

I have been looking at getting one of these but I figure the same effect could be achieved using modules.

Does anyone have any experience of doing something similar to what the VOG does using modules and in particular which filter modules they think are best for boosting the same things as the VOG does - i.e. Kick, Bass Guitar and Voice

Thanks

Any highpass or multimode mode filter will do that, if its resonance can
get into (or close to) self oscillation. I am using live a A-127 with
one band modified to highpass for that on my TR707 to fatten up the
Kick. A-121, A-106-5, A-107 will do the job too.

If you can get hands on one: get a Moog Parametric EQ - it is a dream.

You need a resonating highpass/bandpass filter for that. The Moog
Lunchbox module won't do the trick.
