hi there. Its possible turn a a-155 into a 16 step seq with only one a-155? Like tone up or down one octave (or some keys) at the 8th step automatically. There is some module to do that? cheers

Hello, it is not possible to achieve this with "official" means. If you are skilled in electronics you might modify the A155, to get a 16 step mode. It requires the following changes: Pick Q4 from IC2 (CD4024) pin6 on the controller board Add a pcb with a small logic inverter stage (one transistor, two resistors), which provides this signal Q4 also inverted (I'll call the inverted signal !Q4) The Q4/!Q4-Signals will be used to control the INH-input of the CD4051's on the potentiometer boards and the CD4053's on the trigger board !Q4 selects for the steps 1-8 and Q4 the steps 9-16. If you want to have it switchable, then you need two additional 4053's which select the INH-lines between ground or Q4/!Q4. Florian aletropdj wrote:

Using the second row of knobs i can make a 16 step seq, but i have to put the jack in and out "a la mano". im looking for a automatic solution --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "aletropdj" <aletropdj@...> wrote:

As clock input of the A-160 one of the trigger rows of the A-155 may be used (only step 1 active). Then you have to use the /2 output to control the A-150. But you may even use the same clock as the A-155 clock. Then the /8 output of the A-160 is used to control the A-150. This solution has the advantage that unit #2 of the A-150 can be used to switch even the trigger rows of the A-155. Hope this helps Dieter Doepfer

For example this sequence up and down variation is produced with A-150 and a-160? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBTsEwNRxe8 --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, <yahoo@...> wrote:

You can use a a-160 and a a-150 to get 16 steps. From the manual: The patch in fig. 6 shows how to use the A-155 as a 16-step sequencer with one single analog CV row. What’s needed are the Clock Divider A-160 (output /8) and the two voltage-controlled swit- ches in the A-150 VCS module. With every eight clock pulses, the A-150 switches between the two trigger and analog CV rows, so that there’s now a 16-step trigger and CV sequence avai- lable at the outputs of the A-150. Good luck! /Lars Bröndum On 29 nov 2011, at 14:29, "aletropdj" <aletropdj@yahoo.com> wrote: > Using the second row of knobs i can make a 16 step seq, but i have to put the jack in and out "a la mano". im looking for a automatic solution > > --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "aletropdj" <aletropdj@...> wrote:o > > > > hi there. > > > > Its possible turn a a-155 into a 16 step seq with only one a-155? > > Like tone up or down one octave (or some keys) at the 8th step automatically. > > > > There is some module to do that? > > > > cheers > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I need 2 a-150? but a-150 its dual. how i can control de voltage to make this tone up or down? its fixed like 1v/oct or i can adjust? Thanks all. --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, Lars Bröndum <lahebr2000@...> wrote:
