MCV24 velocity to CV issue

MCV24 velocity to CV issue

2011-11-12 by Daniel Troberg

calling all MCV24 users,

I have an issue with my MCV24, latest OS. using the SIX4ONE preset (or programming manually), sending a note velocity at 118 and higher makes the CV output for the velocity go to 0V ! this happens on all the channels outputting velocity.

anyone noted this behaviour?

it was suggested to me that I should route the velocity to either the sustain parameter of the adsr or the adsr depth to scale the depth of the velocity modulation but I have yet to achieve this. if anyone could give me some pointers I would be happy to try that out.

thanks

daniel

Though the MCV24 is out of production since more than 5 years Christian
Assall (software@doepfer.de) may help you. He is the programmer of the MCV24
firmware.

Best wishes
