Passive Modules

2010-08-02 by heslop.jonathan

Does anyone know off the top of their heads which Doepfer (plus other euro rack) modules are passive? I'm trying to sort out an upgrade for my basic 6u a-100 system to the "low cost" 9u. I'm currently planning to add passive modules to a mini case with no power to save space in the 9u rack.

BIG thanks to the creater of the system planner. sooooooo useful!

A-183-2 A-183-1?

The A-183-1 looks useful. I'm thinking of ditching my A-130 / 131 VCA's for 1 A-132-1 Dual VCA. Am I right in thinking the A-183-1 gives the A-132-1 level/gain control?

Thanks,
Jonathan

Yes, but it does not have the offset feature of A-130/131. For this the
A-183-2 would be required. The A-183-1 is a simple passive attenuator only.
And the A-183-2 is not passive !
