Just an FYI, I've read, and I don't even have a micromoog, that Moog  
Music intentionally designed it to respond to slightly less than 1v/ 
oct because they figured it would be easiest to trim an variety of  
incoming voltages if it were a good bit lower than 1v/oct.. I guess  
the thinking was if your incoming signal was too low and the micromoog  
was at 1v/oct then you'd need active circuitry to amp the signal.  You  
may want to check with the Moog forum @ moogmusic.com - you'd probably  
be able to find out what people are doing with the freqbox. In the  
back of my head, even with the Voyager, for whatever reason there was  
some oddness with the CV inputs and 1v/oct. that they compensated for  
with the vx-351

Personally, I'll always try to adjust the incoming CV before I re- 
calibrate what it's going into. Not a direct criticism on what you are  
trying to do, but frequently on the net it seems the default answer is  
to "calibrate" something that might be okay, or simple to compensate  
the input for because it doesn't track to a CV that hasn't been  
checked out and may have a host of potential issues.

I do agree that there are too few easy solutions out there to adjust  
to vintage gear levels, for instance dealing with much hotter gates  
used years ago
