The A-149-1 generates quantized/stored random voltages similar to the Buchla module (i.e. the voltage changes at each rising edge of the incoming clock signal). If you want to obtain triggers you may use a voltage controlled switch (e.g. A-150) that follows the A-149-1 output in

Hi Dieter, Thanks. Are the outputs always a positive voltage? The Behringer Model D manual states that exceeding the rated input voltages can damage it. I have no way of knowing if that's true, because I haven't seen the schematics of that either, but I'd rather not rely on it be

For each output a scale control is available to adjust the scale of the output in question. It also limits the max. voltage. With the controls fully CCW the max. voltage is close to +12V. To limit the voltage to +5V the controls have to be adjusted to about position 4. I'm not fa

Hello, please make sure that the output level of the Gate/Clock/Reset/Start/Stop outputs is set to +12V (not +5V). And make sure that the frequency of the A-147-2 is not too low. The frequency of the A-147-2 should be not much less than the clock signal coming from the Dark Time.
