Ohh, it can very much be used to full effect without the /4, but I second the motion that a smaller offset module should be great. And in that case I should wish for one that not only attenuates but also has the capacity to boost signals preferrably switched so you could set the maximum output to either +5v or +12v or +15v so you don't accidentally blow up other modules. Dual attenutator... hmm, looking at the jack and knobs it seems to me like it would be possible for something like a 2 input four output in a unit about the size of the a111. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of those when I expand. Time for a new module and feautes vote here Bakis? ----- Original Message ----- From: "code_pig" <code_pig@yahoo.com> To: <Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Friday, March 21, 2003 1:14 PM Subject: [Doepfer_a100] Re: Offset module > Actually, I just wanted a dual offset module because I really don't > need (or have room for) and A129/3. > > I mean, I don't want to whine, but I really don't think it should be > necessary for one to purchase the A129/3 (which really can't be fully > expolited without the A129/4 Controller) when all one may need is a > couple of offset generators. > > Regards, > Kevin > > --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "jmaddocks1975" > <jmaddocks1975@y...> wrote: > > Hi, > > I agree, this is something I am looking at building. > > My a129 never gets used and I really want a fixed filter, so if I > can > > make a module with 15 pots to control the a129/2 I got one. > > Any ideas of best way to make it? > > > > John > > --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "pstnotpd" <psm@w...> wrote: > > > Wouldn't that be fairly easy to make yourself?
