compare:
A111-A138(FullOpen)-SSG-Cubase
with
A111-MAVCA(FullOpen)-SSG-Cubase

You see, that in both cases the high frequency level drops.

So now it is clear:
The cause is NOT the A-138, because the same behaviour can be seen with 
a non-Doepfer-module too.
The problem is caused by the SSG. I assume its input behaves with the 
output circuit of the other modules like a lowpass. This is assumingly a 
concept fault of the SSG circuit. I don't know the schematics of the 
SSG, so I cannot tell details. But your tests proove it.
